Hello, fellow wanderluster I’m Karin and welcome to my blog. I’m a budget traveler who loves to explore new places, meet interesting people, and find the cheapest deals on everything from street food to accommodation. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned from my travels, it’s that sometimes the best experiences come from taking a wrong turn or getting lost in a foreign city (although let’s hope we don’t get too lost!).
I had always been dreaming of traveling the world. I felt like life was passing me by. Watching my children grow up right before my eyes and with only one left at home that I already homeschooled, I realized nothing was holding me back. I wanted to explore and see everything this world has to offer, and I knew I had to make it happen. Filled with wanderlust I turned my dreams into my vision and my vision became my reality. I’m enjoying every second of my life exploring every corner of this beautiful world.
And let me tell you, it’s been an amazing journey so far. I’ve seen things I never thought I would, met incredible people from all walks of life, and discovered the beauty of living in the moment. Through my blog, I’ll take you on this incredible journey with me and show you that anything is possible if you dare to take that first step.
We’ve done everything from camping in the wilderness to surfing couches and staying in budget-friendly hostels, Air Bnb’s, and living in a van! And yes, we also like to indulge in some luxury experiences from time to time, but we never let it break the bank. After all, who says you have to sacrifice adventure for comfort? With a little creativity and flexibility, we’ve managed to find the perfect balance between budget travel and indulging in unforgettable experiences. Through my travel blog, I’ll take you on a journey of discovery, sharing my tips for finding the best deals on everything from accommodation to activities, and showing you how to make the most of your travel budget. So, if you’re ready to join the adventure, pack your bags, and let’s hit the road together. Just don’t forget to pack your sense of humor (and some extra toilet paper, you never know when you’ll need it).
